2011 marks 10 years of being involved in the Audience Response Systems market (ARS) and there have been a number of notable changes.
Firstly the market has grown globally and is now an affordable, reliable product available for all industries. Looking back ARS was predominately bought or hired out to the medical device and pharmaceutical companies. Today ARS has been sold to a multitude of industries for both training and conferencing. This year alone the KP1 Keypoint system has been acquired by sporting bodies, car manufacturing companies, financial institutions, media companies, government bodies, medical educators, mining industries, logistics companies, university departments and a number of consultants representing all industries.
What stands out the most is that ARS users are looking for more than 3 or 4 result charts that cannot be modified and do not allow corporate branding to be added to the chart. The Keypoint software utilises all of the functionality that MS office, PowerPoint and Excel offer to adapt the look and feel of the results charts to what the corporate market are used to and use on a daily basis.
How and where Keypoint is used varies from customer to customer and market to market, but one thing that stands out against any other ARS on the market is the stability of the program, its reliability and ease of use.
If you have used Keypoint and would like to add comments to the KP1 blog, please feel free to do so.
